I love automobiles.. I’d love to be a design consultant or something of sort in the nearest future. I stumbled on a tutorial from www.carbodydesign.com.
I haven’t much time to surf the site and digest the information but I tried out a tutorial I found on UV mapping for the car body. Well. Here’s my result.
The texturing was done in photoshop (editing a jpeg export from 3ds max uv map editor), and then imported back into the car’s body material in 3ds max
A quick v render after applying the material…
