I just came out of a 3-day explosive training with my mentor and other partners here in Johannesburg, South Africa aimed at gearing us up to explode our businesses.
The impact of personal development on your level of success in life cannot be over-emphasized.
If you empty your wallet into your brain, your brain will fill up your wallet multiple times over. – Matt Morris (The Unemployed Millionaire)
I want to touch on one of biggest tips I got this weekend.
Many times, we are on the right track and doing the right things, but the problem is we are putting in just enough, just enough to get by, just enough not to go out of business, or just the enough work at the office in order not to get fired.. Or to get your salary at the end of the month.
If you really want to experience momentum, you need some sustained effort but not just sustained, it must be applied in a compressed period of time.
The law of Compressed Activity
The amount of effort you put into a particular venture for a compressed amount of time will pay you far more than the same amount of effort applied over a longer period of time.
Regardless of your business or industry, if you compress the effort of 10 months and apply it in 2 months, it will pay you far more than the same effort applied in 10 months.
That was one of my biggest take-aways this weekend and I wouldn’t have learnt that if I didn’t invest in my personal development by being taking a flight to be here.
